Chelsea Sullivan: BCBTMB CPMT
Licensed Massage Therapist
Chelsea Sullivan attended Soma Institute for Massage Therapy in 2006 and was licensed in 2007. She believes massage therapy is beneficial for health and wellness and a great aid in pain relief. She excels at modalities including: Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release Technique, Sports Massage, Swedish Massage and Oncology Specific Massage. She is certified in Palliative Touch Therapy and Pediatric Massage Therapy.
The most rewarding aspect of her massage therapy work with Dr. Morales is experiencing a breakthrough treatment with a patient that relieves their current symptoms and helps to improve their physical function and range of motion. The therapeutic approach of massage therapy perfectly complements the chiropractic treatments patients receive from Dr. Morales. To advance both her skills and knowledge in massage therapy, Chelsea takes continuing education classes on various clinical practice topics.
Chelsea received her BS in Biology from Eastern Illinois University and MBA in Marketing from Dominican University. She helped introduce and develop the massage therapy program for Loyola University in Chicago. Since January of 2014, she has volunteered as a massage therapist at the Cancer Wellness Center in Northbrook.
Chelsea resides in Oak Park with her cat Stevie and dog Ernie who receive regular massages. In her spare time, Chelsea likes to run, swim, attend movies and spend time with her family.
